1. What We Collect
Nothing. SpaceRay does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data, usage data, crash reports, or analytics of any kind.
2. How the App Works
SpaceRay processes video files locally on your Mac using Apple's hardware-accelerated H.265 encoder. All conversion happens entirely on your device — no video data is ever sent to any server.
3. Local Processing Only
When you drop a file into SpaceRay, it stays on your Mac for the entire conversion process. The app does not connect to the internet during conversion or at any other time during normal operation.
4. Purchase & Payment
Purchases are processed by Paddle. When you buy SpaceRay, your payment information is handled entirely by Paddle — we never see or store your credit card details. Please review Paddle's Privacy Policy for information on how they handle payment data.
5. No Third-Party SDKs
SpaceRay contains no third-party analytics SDKs, advertising SDKs, crash reporting tools, or tracking libraries of any kind. It is a self-contained native macOS application.
6. Children's Privacy
SpaceRay is a video conversion utility not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.
7. Changes to This Policy
If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the "Last updated" date above and notify users via the App or website.
