1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using SpaceRay ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App. These Terms are between you and Jamdillo ("we," "us," or "our"), based in Austin, Texas.
2. License
Upon purchasing SpaceRay, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to install and use the App on Mac computers that you own or control, for your personal or internal business use. This license is perpetual — you may continue using the version you purchased indefinitely.
You may not:
- Redistribute, sublicense, rent, or sell the App or your license
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Remove any proprietary notices from the App
3. Payment & Refunds
Purchases are processed by Paddle, our authorized reseller and Merchant of Record. By completing a purchase, you agree to Paddle's terms and conditions. The purchase price is $29.99 USD, charged once. There are no recurring fees or subscriptions.
We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee. If you are unsatisfied with SpaceRay for any reason within 7 days of purchase, contact us at [email protected] for a full refund.
4. Updates
Your one-time purchase includes all future updates to SpaceRay at no additional cost. We reserve the right to release major version updates as separate paid products, though we will provide reasonable advance notice if we do so.
5. Disclaimer of Warranties
SpaceRay is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or meet your specific requirements. Video conversion involves processing resources — ensure you have sufficient disk space and system resources before converting.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Jamdillo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of SpaceRay, including but not limited to data loss during conversion. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App.
7. Your Responsibilities
You are responsible for ensuring you have the legal right to convert any video content you process with SpaceRay. The app is a tool — how you use it is your responsibility. Always maintain backups of original source files.
8. Source Material Requirements
SpaceRay requires Blu-ray 3D content in MKV or M2TS format (typically ripped using MakeMKV). The app does not rip or decrypt Blu-ray discs — you must use separate software for that purpose.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes via the App or our website. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
