1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using StrayFiles ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App. These Terms are between you and Jamdillo ("we," "us," or "our"), based in Austin, Texas.
2. License
Upon purchasing StrayFiles, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to install and use the App on Mac computers that you own or control, for your personal or internal business use. This license is perpetual — you may continue using the version you purchased indefinitely.
You may not:
- Redistribute, sublicense, rent, or sell the App or your license
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Remove any proprietary notices from the App
3. Free Trial
StrayFiles may be downloaded and used free of charge for a trial period of 7 days. After the trial period, a one-time purchase of $9.99 is required to continue using the App. No credit card is required to start the trial.
4. Payment & Refunds
Purchases are processed by Paddle, our authorized reseller and Merchant of Record. By completing a purchase, you agree to Paddle's terms and conditions. The purchase price is $9.99 USD, charged once. There are no recurring fees or subscriptions.
We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you are unsatisfied with StrayFiles for any reason within 30 days of purchase, contact us at [email protected] for a full refund.
5. Updates
Your one-time purchase includes all future updates to StrayFiles at no additional cost. We reserve the right to release major version updates as separate paid products, though we will provide reasonable advance notice if we do so.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
StrayFiles is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or meet your specific requirements. File management operations involve inherent risk — always maintain backups of important data.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Jamdillo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of StrayFiles, including but not limited to data loss. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App.
8. Your Responsibilities
StrayFiles identifies files associated with apps and packages and moves them to the Trash at your direction. You are responsible for reviewing files before confirming removal. Items moved to Trash can be recovered until the Trash is emptied.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes via the App or our website. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
